Legacy Arena is an indoor arena located at 1898 9th Ave North, in Birmingham, Alabama, USA. The arena was built in 1976, and the fire alarm system was upgraded in 2021.

FACP

The building is protected by a Simplex 4120 networked fire alarm system. All nodes are Simplex 4100ES addressable fire alarm panels; the locations of which are unknown. The system runs Simplex’s IDNet addressable protocol, and is equipped with voice evacuation. The evacuation signal is likely slow whoop and a voice message.

Notification Appliances

All notification appliances are Wheelock E70-24MCW-FW speaker/strobes (white, wall-mount, set to 70V/15cd).
The arena’s public address system also broadcasts all system audio.
