Marriott is an American chain of upscale hotels. The chain is headquartered in Bethesda, Maryland, USA, and has locations worldwide. This particular hotel is located at 100 East Onondaga Street, in Downtown Syracuse, New York, USA. The hotel was built in 1924 as the Hotel Syracuse, and was purchased, gutted and remodeled by Marriott in 2016. The fire alarm system was upgraded as part of this renovation.

The building is protected by an Edwards EST3 addressable fire alarm system. The panel location is unknown, however this is likely a networked system. The system runs Edwards’ Signature addressable protocol, and is equipped with voice evacuation. The messages and/or tones are unknown at this time.
