350R Shawville Boulevard SE is a shopping plaza located in the Shawnessy shopping area of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The tenants are Best Buy, Sportchek, Michaels, and Staples. The plaza was built in 1999, and the fire alarm system is partially original.

The plaza is protected by a Mircom FA-1000 conventional fire alarm system. The panel is located in an electrical room at the rear of the building. The system coding is continuous.
The FA-1000 replaced an EST ESA2000 in the mid 2010s.
Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]
The notification appliances vary by tenant.
Best Buy (1999)[edit | edit source]
Most notification appliances are General Signal MB10-24 motor bells (10" gong) mounted on Edwards 403-5A-R strobe plates (15cd).
The following bells were installed as deficiency replacements, the strobe plates remain unchanged:
- Edwards 439D-10AWC vibrating bells (10" gong) in some areas
- Mircom BL-10B motor bell (10" gong) by appliances.

All notification appliances are General Signal MB6-24 motor bells (6" gong) mounted on Edwards 403-5A-R strobe plates (15cd).

Most notification appliances are General Signal MB6-24 motor bells (6" gong) mounted on Edwards 403-5A-R strobe plates (15cd).
Some areas have Mircom BL-6A motor bells (6" gong) mounted on Mircom RSB24-153075 strobe plates (15cd) installed as deficiency replacements.

Outdoor Notification[edit | edit source]
There are System Sensor "SpectrAlert Advance" P2RKA weatherproof horn/strobes (red, wall-mount) and System Sensor SRKA weatherproof remote strobes (red, wall-mount) outside each unit at the rear of the building.
These are mounted with a horn/strobe and a remote strobe mounted next to each other.

Sport Chek has Mirtone 73353 conventional single-action pull stations.
