Michaels is an arts and crafts retail chain with stores across North America. This particular store is located at 9718 170 St NW, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The building was built in 1986 as part of Safeway, and was split to become Michaels in 1999. The fire alarm system was upgraded in 1999, with a panel replacement occurring in the early 2020s.
The adjacent Dulux Paints store is also protected by this system.
