Richmond International Airport is a joint civil-military airport located at 1 Richard E Byrd Terminal Drive, in Richmond, Virginia, USA. This page will cover the main terminal building, which opened in 2007 and was expanded in 2021. The fire alarm system is partially original.

The building is protected by a Siemens FireFinder XLS addressable fire alarm system. The panel location is unknown. The system runs Siemens’ FirePrint addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.

Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]

Most notification appliances are Siemens U-MMT-MCS horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, set to 15cd). Areas requiring additional visual signaling have Siemens U-MCS remote strobes (red, wall-mount, set to 15cd). Areas with lower ceilings have Siemens ZH-MC-W-C horn/strobes (white, ceiling-mount, set to 15cd).
