Secure Building SB00004 is a secure facility added under Fire Alarmpedia's Secure Building Information Program.

System Specifications

FACP

The building is protected by a Mircom FA-1000 conventional fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main entrance vestibule. The system coding is temporal.
This panel replaced an Edwards Custom 6500 in 2015.

Notification Appliances

All notification appliances but one are Mircom BL-6B motor bells (6" gong).
There is an Edwards "Adaptabel" 333D single-stroke bell (6" gong) in the rear mechanical room, original to the building.

Initiating Devices

Pull Stations

All pull stations are Edwards 270-SPO conventional single-action pull stations.

Automatic Detection Devices

There are Edwards 281C conventional 135°F fixed-temperature/rate-of-rise heat detectors in many rooms, with FDD CR-135 and System Sensor 5601A conventional 135°F fixed-temperature/rate-of-rise heat detectors present as deficiency replacements.

EOLs

There are Edwards EOL-P1 end of line resistor plates on all circuits.
