The Crimson is an upscale hotel located at 200 Connaught Drive, in Jasper, Alberta, Canada. The hotel opened in 1958, and was extensively renovated in 2014. The fire alarm system was upgraded as part of the 2014 renovation.

The building is protected by an EST iO500 addressable fire alarm system. The panel location is unknown. The system runs EST’s Signature addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.
Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]
All common areas have Edwards “Genesis” G1-HDVM horn/strobes (white, wall-mount, no marking, set to 15cd).
All guest rooms have Edwards 683-1C silenceable mini-horns (white, wall-mount).
For exterior notification, there is an Edwards WG4RN-HVMC weatherproof horn/strobe (red, wall-mount, no marking, set to 60cd) at the right corner of the building.
