Notification Appliances
All notification appliances are very rare Edwards 1047 vibrating bells (6" gong, 120VAC). There is one bell per floor, for a total of five. They are original to the building.
Initiating Devices
Pull Stations
All pull stations are first-generation Edwards CCS-642 or 270-SPO single action pull stations, some of which have their original glass rod. They are likely original to the building. There are two on each floor at either stairwell.
Automatic Detection Devices
There are a total of twenty American Sensors ESA5011 120v hardwired ionization smoke alarms installed in the building; two on each floor attached to each pull station (10), and one for each floor in the two stairwells. (10)
It is possible that there is one more in the elevator mechanical room.
There is also a Mirtone 73330 fixed-temperature heat detector in the Laundry room near the mechanical room door.
