Village Square Plaza is a shopping plaza located at 2520 52 St NE, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The plaza consists of Gold's Gym, Dollarama, and Shoppers Drug Mart. The plaza was built in 1977 as a single-tenant retail space, and was converted into three units in 2024. The fire alarm system was upgraded as part of the 2024 conversion.

FACP
The building is protected by an Edwards iO64 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main electrical room. The system runs Edwards' Signature addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.
Annunciators
There are Edwards RLCD-C annunciators paired with Edwards RLED24 annunciators in the Gold's Gym and Shoppers entrance vestibules, mounted in Edwards RA-ENC2 enclosures.
Booster Panels
There are two Edwards BPS6AC 6-amp booster power supplies on the system; one in the main electrical room, and one in the Shoppers electrical room.
Notification Appliances
Most notification appliances are a mix of Edwards "Genesis" G1AVRF and G4AVRF horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, FIRE marking, set to 15cd).
Gold's Gym has Edwards G4AVWF horn/strobes (white, wall-mount, FIRE marking, set to 15cd) mounted on the ceiling.
Shoppers and Dollarama have Edwards GCAVWF horn/strobes (white, ceiling-mount, FIRE marking, set to 15cd) in addition to the aforementioned devices.
Some areas have Edwards G1VRF remote strobes (red, wall-mount, FIRE marking, set to 15cd).
For outdoor notification, there is an Edwards CS405-7A-T weatherproof remote strobe (red, 15/75cd) outside the main electrical room.

Pull Stations
All pull stations are Edwards SIGA-270 addressable single-action pull stations.
Automatic Detection Devices
There are Edwards SIGA-OSD addressable photoelectric smoke detectors in all electrical, storage, data and sprinkler rooms, mounted on Edwards SIGA-SB bases.
Modules
There are EST SIGA-CT1 addressable monitor modules supervising the sprinkler system's tamper and flow switches.
There are EST SIGA-CR addressable relay modules serving various purposes.
There are EST SIGA-IM addressable isolator modules on the SLC.
EOLs
There are Edwards EOL-P1 end of line resistor plates on all sprinkler and signal circuits.
