The building is protected by a Mircom FX-2000 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main entrance vestibule. The system runs Mircom’s CLIP addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.
Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]
Most common area notification appliances are Mircom “Select-a-Horn/Strobe” FHS-340R horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, set to 15cd/electromechanical).
There is a Mircom FHS-400-RR horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, set to 15cd) on the 2nd and 4th floor each as deficiency replacements.
All suite bedrooms have Mircom MH-S25WA silenceable mini-horns (white).

There are Mircom MIX-2251BA addressable photoelectric smoke detectors throughout all common areas.
There is a Mircom MIX-2251APA addressable photoelectric smoke detector in the lobby as a deficiency replacement.
There are Mircom MIX-5251HBA addressable 190°F fixed-temperature/rate-of-rise heat detectors in the mechanical room.
All aforementioned detectors are mounted on System Sensor B210LPA bases.
There are System Sensor DNRA duct smoke detector housings with Mircom MIX-2251BA addressable photoelectric head on all make up air units.

There are Mircom MIX-M500MA addressable monitor modules supervising the sprinkler system’s tamper and flow switches.
There are Mircom MIX-M500RA addressable relay modules for elevator recall and MUA shutdown.
There are System Sensor M500XA isolator modules at each stairwell on each floor.

There are Mircom MP-300 end of line resistor plates on all sprinkler and Class-B signal circuits.
