West Edmonton Baptist Church is a church located at 17821 98 Ave NW, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The church was built in 1986, and the fire alarm system is partially original, with a panel replacement occurring in 2023.

FACP

The building is protected by a Notifier NFS2-640C conventional fire alarm system. The panel is located in the west entrance/stairwell, and has multiple Notifier XP6-MAA zone cards to accommodate the system's conventional technology, and the system coding is march time (120BPM).

This panel replaced the original Mirtone 8000 in 2023.

Annunciators

There is a Notifier ACM-24AT annunciator in the main entrance vestibule.

Notification Appliances

Most notification appliances are Mirtone 74303 vibrating bells (6” gong).
The lobbies have Notifier KMS-6-24VDC/P motor bells (6” gong).
There is a Notifier KMS-6-24A motor bell (6” gong) in the gymnasium as a deficiency replacement.

Most pull stations are Mirtone 73303 conventional single-action pull stations.
The lobbies have Notifier NFM-950B conventional single-action pull stations.

Automatic Detection Devices

There are Mirtone 73320 conventional 135°F fixed-temperature/rate-of-rise heat detectors in some areas.

Other areas have FDD CR-135 conventional 135°F fixed-temperature/rate-of-rise heat detectors as deficiency replacements.

There is an FDD CF-135 conventional 135°F fixed-temperature heat detector in the electrical room.

The gas meter room has an FDD CF-200 conventional 200°F fixed-temperature heat detector.
There are System Sensor C2W-BA conventional photoelectric smoke detectors in each stairwell, installed in January 2025 replacing System Sensor 1400A conventional ionization smoke detectors.

There is a duct smoke detector on the make-up air unit, model unknown.

EOLs
