Willow Lodge is a Suncor camp located in Bitumount, Alberta, Canada. This page will cover the main building, which houses lodge services and the commissary. The buildings were mostly built in 2012, and some were built in 2018. The fire alarm system was finished in 2024.

FACP

The building is protected by a Mircom FleX-Net networked fire alarm system. This is a 5 node system; node locations are below.

  • Node 1 (Kitchen Entrance 1)
  • Node 2 (Kitchen Entrance 2)
  • Node 3: (Main Entrance Lobby)
  • Node 4: (Corridor by Lodge O)
  • Node 5: (Corridor by Lodge G)

The system runs Mircom's CLIP addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.

Annunciators

There are Mircom RAX-LCD annunciators paired with Mircom RAX-1048TZDS annunciators at some entrances.

Notification Appliances

Most notification appliances are Mircom "Select-A-Horn/Strobe" FHS-340R horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, set to electromechanical/15cd).
Newer areas have Mircom FHS-400-RR horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, set to 15cd).
All washrooms have Mircom FS-400-RR remote strobes (red, wall-mount, set to 15cd).

Pull Stations

Most pull stations are Mircom MS-401AD addressable single-action pull stations.
Some newer areas have Mircom MS-401AP addressable single-action pull stations.

Automatic Detection Devices

There are Mircom MIX-2251BA and MIX-2251APA addressable photoelectric smoke detectors throughout most areas.
There is one Mircom MIX-2351APA addressable photoelectric smoke detector as a deficiency replacement.
The lunchrooms have Mircom MIX-5251RBA addressable 135°F fixed-temperature/rate-of-rise heat detectors.
Some areas have Mircom MIX-5251HAPA and MIX-5251HBA addressable 190°F fixed-temperature heat detectors, with Mircom MIX-5351HAPA addressable 190°F fixed-temperature heat detectors installed as deficiency replacements.
All detectors are mounted on System Sensor B210LPA bases.

Modules

There are Mircom MIX-M500MA and MIX-M500MAPA addressable monitor modules supervising the alarm and trouble contacts of each dorm's panel, and the sprinkler system's tamper and flow switches.
There are Mircom MIX-M500RAPA addressable relay modules serving various purposes.
There are System Sensor M500XA isolator modules on all SLCs.
There are Mircom SDM-240 sync modules synchronizing all strobes.

EOLs

There are Mircom MP-300 end of line resistor plates on all sprinkler and signal circuits.
