‘’’Wingate’’’ is a chain of lower-midrange hotels owned by Wyndham. They have locations in several countries, and are headquartered in Parsippany, New Jersey. This particular hotel is located at 400 Midpark Way SE, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The building was built in 2001, and the fire alarm system is mostly original, with replacement parts installed as deficiencies occur.

FACP
The building is protected by a Notifier NFS-320C addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the CACF room behind the front desk. The system runs Notifier's CLIP addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal for all common area devices, and continuous for all guest room devices.
This panel replaced a Notifier AFP-200 in 2020.
Annunciators
There is a Notifier LCD2-80 annunciator in the main entrance vestibule.
Booster Panels
There are Notifier FCPS-24 booster power supplies in the 3rd and 4th floor electrical rooms.
Notification Appliances
Common Areas
Most notification appliances are System Sensor "SpectrAlert" P2415A horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, 15cd).
Some areas have System Sensor P4RA horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, set to 15cd) and System Sensor "L-Series" P4RLA horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, bilingual lettering, set to 15cd) as deficiency replacements.
There is one System Sensor P4RA-B horn/strobe (red, wall-mount, bilingual lettering, set to 15cd) in the staff laundry room.
Guest Rooms
Most guest rooms have Mircom MH-S25WA silenceable mini-horns (white) paired with System Sensor "SpectrAlert" S2415WA remote strobes (white, wall-mount, 15cd).
Room 333 has a System Sensor "SpectrAlert Advance" MHWA mini-horn (white) paired with a Mircom "Select-A-Strobe" FS-340R remote strobe (red, wall-mount, set to 15cd).
Room 208 has a Mircom FS-240R remote strobe (red, wall-mount, set to 15cd) as a deficiency replacement; the original horn remains.
Room 221 has a System Sensor "SpectrAlert" S2415A remote strobe (red, wall-mount, 15cd), original to the building.
One room has a System Sensor "L-Series" SWLA remote strobe (white, wall-mount, bilingual lettering, set to 15cd) as a deficiency replacement; the original horn remains.
Initiating Devices
Pull Stations
Most pull stations are Tyco/Grinnell MS-401GR conventional single-action pull stations, with Mircom MS-401 conventional single-action pull stations installed as deficiency replacements.
All stations are wired to Notifier FMM-101A addressable monitor modules.
Automatic Detection Devices
There are Notifier FSI-851A addressable ionization smoke detectors throughout all common areas, at the top of each stairwell, and at the top of each elevator shaft.
Some areas have Notifier FSP-851A addressable photoelectric smoke detectors as deficiency replacements.
All aforementioned detectors are mounted on Notifier B710LPA bases.
There are Notifier "Innovair" FSD-751PA addressable photoelectric duct smoke detectors on the air handling units in rooms 4002 and 4004.
Modules
There are Notifier FMM-101A addressable monitor modules supervising the sprinkler system's tamper and flow switches.
There are Notifier FRM-1A addressable relay modules serving various purposes.
There are Notifier ISO-X isolator modules on the SLC.
