Earls is a casual restaurant chain. This particular restaurant is located at #605 5005 Dalhousie Dr NW, Calgary, AB. It was built in 1996, and had a renovation in 2012. The fire alarm system was installed after the renovation, but most of the pull stations are original.

System Specifications (2012-present)[edit | edit source]

FACP[edit | edit source]

The building is protected by a Simplex 4006 conventional fire alarm system. The panel is located in the lobby, and is specifically model 4006-9122 (beige door with LED annunciator). The system coding is temporal.

Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]

All notification appliances are Simplex "TrueAlert" 4906-9127 horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, set to 15cd).

Initiating Devices[edit | edit source]

Pull Stations[edit | edit source]

Most pull stations are the original Notifier NFM-950B conventional pull stations. There is a Mircom MS-401 conventional pull station in the kitchen as a deficiency replacement.

Automatic Detection Devices[edit | edit source]

There is a Simplex 4098-9615 fixed temperature/rate of rise heat detector in the kitchen, and a Simplex 4098-9601 photoelectric smoke detector in the entrance. Both detectors are mounted on 4098-9788 bases.
