The fire alarm panel is a Fire-Lite MS-4. It was previously owned by [[User:AdenK2333]] and [[User:Twentytwo22]]. It was previously used in the [[Barndominium]]. When the system goes into alarm, it does continuous (or also code 3 if only the bells or horns are hooked up).  The panel has a Power Trouble, more specifically a Charger fault, caused by the battery polarities being reversed.  This was not caused by the current owner.  The panel will hopefully be replaced soon, and will either be used for a mini system, or be given to [[User: Simplex NimrodES]] to use on his system.

YYCsFireAlarmNimrod's Basement (name may be subject to change) is a basement in Calgary, built in 2003. It has a mini fire alarm system owned and serviced by User:YYCsFireAlarmNimrod.

System Specifications

  • Note: YYCsFireAlarmNimrod frequently modifies the fire alarm system, hence the "can range from" and "usually consist" parts. Although he frequently modifies it, it is always powered up. He can pull the alarm on it any time he wants to without being fined as it is a controlled environment. NEVER pull a fire alarm unless there is actually a fire emergency.

FACP

The fire alarm panel is a Fire-Lite MS-4. It was previously owned by User:AdenK2333 and User:Twentytwo22. It was previously used in the Barndominium. When the system goes into alarm, it does continuous (or also code 3 if only the bells or horns are hooked up). The panel has a Power Trouble, more specifically a Charger fault, caused by the battery polarities being reversed. This was not caused by the current owner. The panel is slated for replacement soon, and will either be used for a mini system, or be given to User: Simplex NimrodES to use on his system. The new panel's model has been confirmed, and User:Yycsfirealarmnimrod is currently saving up for shipping costs to receive it from the previous owner.

Notification Appliances

The notification appliances usually consist of a Simplex 2901-9720 motor bell, and a Gentex "Commander 3" GEC3-24WR horn/strobe, set to random tones for each time he modifies the system, and sometimes just the strobe. The 2901-9720 came out of R.T. Alderman School. Other notification appliances used are an Edwards 892-2B with only the strobe hooked up (the horn failed), and recently EST "Integrity" 757-5A-T horn/strobes, and an EST "Integrity" 202-5A-T remote strobe.

Initiating Devices

Pull Stations

The pull stations are also changed out sometimes, but they consist of a Simplex 2099-9201 (4251-20), a Simplex 2099-9754, an ADT B5009, and recently an FCI MS-2, but an "EPO & DISCONNECT" variant, which is meant for an emergency stop switch, a Fire-Lite BG-12L, and a GE 270-SPO. The Simplex 2099-9201 came out of R.T. Alderman School, and the GE 270-SPO was from User:Twentytwo22.

Automatic Detection Devices

The only automatic detection device is a Simplex 2098-9110 2-wire ionization smoke detector. This smoke detector was used previously, it came out of R.T. Alderman School.
