The building is protected by a Notifier NFS2-640C conventional fire alarm system. The panel is located in the Starbucks, next to an emergency exit and near a fireplace. The panel has two zone cards in it; a Notifier XP6-MA 6-zone smoke detector card, as well as a Notifier XP-10MA 10-zone card.  The system likely does continuous in alarm.  This panel replaced an EST 6616.
The fire alarm panel is a custom Notifier NFS2-3030C installed in 2016, after the newer upper terminal was built. It replaced an EST 6616 from 1997-98. Despite the fire alarm system being addressable, the system is not set up in an addressable manner. The panel is located in the Starbucks coffee, on the left side of the fireplace.

Most notification appliances are Edwards 439D-6AWC vibrating bells (6" gong).  These can be found in three different setups: Remotely, with no strobe, on an Edwards 403-5A-R strobe plate (15cd), and with an Edwards 202-5A-T remote strobe (15cd) next to it.  By the main entrance, there is an Edwards MB6-24 motor bell (6" gong), likely replacing a 439D-6AWC. Some areas have Edwards 202-5A-T remote strobes, and the gondola boarding area has an Edwards 439D-10AWC vibrating bell (10" gong), with a 202-5A-T strobe next to it.
There are two Edwards 439D-6AWC vibrating bells on EST 403-5A-R "Integrity" strobe plates, one in the main lobby and one in the store on a pillar. There is an Edwards MB6-24 motor bell by an exit, likely replacing a 439D-6AWC. There is an EST 202-5A-T "Integrity" remote strobe on the other side of the pillar with the 439D-6AWC and Integrity strobe plate. The gondola boarding area has an Edwards 439D-10AWC vibrating bell with an EST 202-5A-T remote strobe right next to it.

System Specifications

FACP

The building is protected by a Notifier NFS2-640C conventional fire alarm system. The panel is located in the Starbucks, next to an emergency exit and near a fireplace. The panel has two zone cards in it; a Notifier XP6-MA 6-zone smoke detector card, as well as a Notifier XP-10MA 10-zone card. The system likely does continuous in alarm. This panel replaced an EST 6616.

Notification Appliances

Initiating Devices

Pull Stations

All pull stations are Edwards 270-SPO conventional single-action pull stations.

Automatic Detection Devices

There are Edwards EDW1451A ionization smoke detectors throughout the building, as well as some System Sensor 5601A 135-degree fixed/rate-of-rise heat detectors in the main lobby, restrooms, and other areas.

Recent Replacements

In 2021, the Edwards 280B-PL heat detectors were replaced with System Sensor 5601A heat detectors, due to a recall affecting the Edwards detectors.
