The building was built very poorly, and has several leaks, sealing issues around windows, and a parking lot that cannot support the weight of large vehicles. Despite this, the fire alarm system is immaculate. The building was built in 2002, and its fire alarm system is mostly original. The system is serviced by Viking Fire Protection.

All notification appliances are from Mircom's "Select-A-Horn/Strobe" line of devices. All areas except the optometrist have Mircom FHS-240R horn/strobes (red, wall-mount), which are original. They are set on code 3 electromechanical tone. The optometrist has Mircom FHS-340R horn/strobes (red, wall-mount), set on code 3 broadband (most likely).
