The Kildare is a 2 story + basement apartment building located in the Beltline district of Calgary, AB. It was built in 1959, however the system is not original.
System Specifications
FACP
3-wire, 120V. Hardwired. No panel.
Notification Appliances
The notification appliances consist of Edwards 6000D (6-inch) 120VAC vibrating bells. Installed sometime in the 1960s at the earliest.
Initiating Devices
Pull Stations
There are mostly Edwards 270-SPO single action pull stations, with one 270-GAO (Yes, I know. Likely what was in the truck at the time of replacement.) There is also a newer Mircom MS-401 likely installed sometime in the 2000s.
Automatic Detection Devices
As with most 120VAC apartment systems, this one has American Sensor ESA5011 120V hardwired smoke detectors with an internal relay.
