Crowfoot Station is an LRT station located at 141 Crowfoot Way Northwest, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The station primarily serves the neighborhoods of Crowfoot and Scenic Acres, as well as the Crowfoot Crossing shopping area. The station also has bus connections to several nearby communities. The station opened in 2009, and served as the terminus for the red line until the opening of Tuscany Station in 2013. The fire alarm system may or may not be original.

System Specifications (2009-present)[edit | edit source]

FACP[edit | edit source]

The building is protected by an EST QuickStart QS1 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in an electrical room. The system runs EST’s Signature addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.

Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]

All notification appliances are System Sensor “SpectrAlert” P2415A horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, 15cd, set to electromechanical).

Initiating Devices[edit | edit source]

Pull Stations[edit | edit source]

Most pull stations are EST SIGC-270B addressable single-action pull stations with bilingual lettering (English/French). Some areas have EST SIGA-270 addressable single-action pull stations; these can also be found as deficiency replacements.

Automatic Detection Devices[edit | edit source]

There are EST SIGA-PS addressable photoelectric smoke detectors throughout the station, mounted on EST SIGA-SB bases. The station is not equipped with a sprinkler system.

EOLs[edit | edit source]

There are Edwards EOL-P1 end-of-line resistor plates on the signal circuit.
