The station opened in 2009, and served as the terminus for the red line until the opening of Tuscany Station in 2013. The fire alarm system may or may not be original.

System Specifications (2009-present)

FACP

The building is protected by an EST QuickStart QS1 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in an electrical room. The system runs EST’s Signature addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.

Notification Appliances

All notification appliances are System Sensor “SpectrAlert” P2415A horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, 15cd, set to electromechanical).

Initiating Devices

Pull Stations

Most pull stations are EST SIGC-270B addressable single-action pull stations with bilingual lettering (English/French). Some areas have EST SIGA-270 addressable single-action pull stations; these can also be found as deficiency replacements.

Automatic Detection Devices

There are EST SIGA-PS addressable photoelectric smoke detectors throughout the station, mounted on EST SIGA-SB bases. The station is not equipped with a sprinkler system.

EOLs

There are Edwards EOL-P1 end-of-line resistor plates on the signal circuit.

Known Activations

Tuesday, December 26, 2023

At approximately 9:30 AM, the system went off due to the East Platform Exit pull station being activated. The station was pulled falsely, and there was no emergency.
