Safeway (Cochrane)

From FireAlarmPedia
Revision as of 21:28, 29 July 2020 by Twentytwo22 (talk | contribs)

Safeway is a chain of grocery stores. This particular location is in the town of Cochrane. It was built in 2001, and is in a plaza, however this is the only store in the plaza with a system.

System Specifications

Panel

The fire alarm panel is a Simplex 4100ES InfoAlarm from 2016-17. It replaced an EST2 from 2001 for some reason. Even though both alarm systems are addressable, they were set up in a non-addressable manner.

Notification Appliances

All indoor notification appliances are the same, EST 757-5A-T Integrity horn/strobes. They are original from 2001. For outdoor notification, there is a System Sensor SpectrAlert Advanced P2RK (red, wall, weatherproof) horn/strobe. It replaced a Wheelock MB-G6-24 motor bell in 2017.

Initiating Devices

Pull Stations

All pull stations are original, they are Mirtone 73303.

Automatic Detection Devices

None noticed.
