FACP

The building is protected by an Edwards EST3 addressable fire alarm system. This is a networked system with several nodes; the main node is located in the CACF room on the main floor. The system runs Edwards’ Signature addressable protocol, and is equipped with voice evacuation. The system is configured for two-stage operation; the alert signal is a 20BPM tone, and the alarm signal is a temporal bell tone. There are custom messages for each stage.

Most notification appliances are Edwards 964-1A-8RW remote speakers (white, ceiling-mount, 25V).
Some areas have Edwards 964-5A-8RW speaker/strobes (white, ceiling-mount, 25V, 15cd).
