Tuscany Station is an CTrain light rail station on the red line for Calgary Transit. It is the newest train station built, and is located near Tuscany, NW Calgary. The station opened in 2014, and has the original fire alarm system.

System Specifications

FACP

The fire alarm panel is an EST QuickStart QS1, judging by the annunciator at the entrance (on the high floor). The main panel is not visible, it's likely in the office.

Notification Appliances

The notification appliances consist of four EST "Genesis" G1R-HDVM (red, fire, no FIRE marking) horn/strobes. Outside, above the entrance, there is an EST "Integrity" CS405-7A-T weatherproof remote strobe without a lens, so no FIRE marking.

Pull Stations

The pull stations consist of a few EST SIGA-270 addressable pull stations.

Automatic Detection Devices

The automatic detection devices consist of two EST SIGA-IPHSB (black) 4D addressable multisensor detectors. They can detect smoke (ionization and photoelectric) and heat.
