'23 Sunpark Drive SE' is the address of a mixed-use professional building located in the Sundance neighborhood of Southeast Calgary. It formerly housed offices for several oil and gas companies, but due to the economic crash, the offices sit vacant. The current tenants are Pacekids Programs, Service Canada Centre and Passport Services, an optometrist, and a couple other small businesses. The building was built very poorly, and has several leaks, sealing issues around windows, and a parking lot that cannot support the weight of large vehicles. Despite this, the fire alarm system is immaculate. The building was built in 2002, and its fire alarm system is mostly original. The system is serviced by Viking Fire Protection.

System Specifications

FACP

The building is protected by a Mircom FX-2000 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located at the main entrance, and is original to the building. When in alarm, the system does code 3.

Notification Appliances

All notification appliances are from Mircom's "Select-A-Horn/Strobe" line of devices. All areas except the optometrist have FHS-240R horn/strobes (red, wall-mount), which are original. They are set on code 3 electromechanical tone. The optometrist has FHS-340R horn/strobes (red, wall-mount), set on code 3 broadband (most likely).

Initiating Devices

Pull Stations

All pull stations are Mircom MS-401AD addressable single-action pull stations.

Automatic Detection Devices

There are Mircom MIX-2251AD addressable photoelectric smoke detectors throughout the building.
