8327 48 Avenue Garage

From FireAlarmPedia
Revision as of 13:00, 11 November 2020 by (username removed) (→‎Pull Stations)

8327 48 Avenue Garage is a small residential garage in Calgary, built in 1975. The system is currently owned by User:AdenK2333.

System Specifications

FACP

The fire alarm panel is an ADT Unimode 10UD-7. Most of the zones are unused and simply have a resistor across them due to the small size of the garage. When the system is in ALARM, the coding is on March Time for NAC 1 (horn) and Wheelock Sync for NAC 2 (strobe). NAC 2 is non-silencable, so that means when the system is silenced, the strobe continues to flash until the system is reset.

Notification Appliances

The one notification appliance is a Wheelock MT-241575W-FR (15/75cd) multi-tone horn/strobe (red, wall mount) set on bell, but does march time due to panel coding.

Initiating Devices

Pull Stations

The pull stations consists of two Edwards 278B-1120 pull stations (conventional, dual action, key lock, screw terminals). The pull stations were previously installed in the Barndominium.

Automatic Detection Devices

There is one automatic detection device, a System Sensor C2WTA-BA, 2-wire, photoelectric i3 smoke detector with a thermal sensor and a built-in sounder. The sounder was removed due to it being unneccesary and annoying. Freeze supervision for this zone is disabled due to the garage ambient temperature falls below freezing during the winter months. The smoke detector was previously installed in the Barndominium.
