Boston Pizza is Canada's largest casual restaurant chain. This particular restaurant is located at 235 Shawville Boulevard Southeast, in the Shawnessy shopping area of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The restaurant opened in 1996, and only the notification appliances are original.

FACP[edit | edit source]

The building is protected by a Mircom FA-106 conventional fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main entrance vestibule. The system coding is likely continuous. This panel was installed on June 5th, 2020 replacing a Notifier SFP-400B.

Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]

All notification appliances but one are Wheelock MBS-G6-24 motor bell/strobes (6" gong, 1.5cd). One area has a Notifier KMS-6-24A motor bell (6" gong) as a deficiency replacement, mounted on the original Wheelock strobe plate.

Initiating Devices[edit | edit source]

Pull Stations[edit | edit source]

All pull stations are Mircom MS-401 conventional single-action pull stations. These were installed in December 2022 replacing Notifier MPS-950B pull stations.

Automatic Detection Devices[edit | edit source]

There is an FDD CR-135 conventional 135°F fixed-temperature/rate-of-rise heat detector in the second floor dining area of the bar.

EOLs[edit | edit source]

There are Notifier EOL-CR end of line resistor plates on all circuits.
