System Specifications (2021-present)[edit | edit source]

FACP[edit | edit source]

The building is protected by a Kidde VS4 hybrid-addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the parkade fire alarm room. The system runs Kidde’s GSA addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.

Annunciators[edit | edit source]

There is a Kidde K-RLCD-C annunciator paired with a Kidde K-RLED24 annunciator behind the security desk. Both annunciators are mounted in a Kidde RA-ENC2 annunciator enclosure.

Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]

All notification appliances are Edwards “Genesis” G1AVRF horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, set to 15cd).

Initiating Devices[edit | edit source]

Pull Stations[edit | edit source]

Most pull stations are Vigilant GSA-M270 addressable single-action pull stations. Some areas have Mircom MS-401 conventional single-action pull stations, remaining from the previous system.

Automatic Detection Devices[edit | edit source]

There are Kidde KI-PD addressable photoelectric smoke detectors throughout the building, mounted on Kidde KI-SB bases. The parkade has FDD CF-135 conventional 135°F fixed-temperature heat detectors.

EOLs[edit | edit source]

There are Edwards EOL-P1 end of line resistor plates on all signal circuits.
